Astrophotography
Sometimes, even a professional astronomer needs some time off from all the astrophysics equations to simply appreciate the beauty of the universe. That is what I use my PTO (Pinchen’s Tiny Observatory) for.
PTO is located in my backyard in State College, PA, comprising of an 8-inch Celestron SCT telescope with an equatorial mount, a ZWO ASI533MC Pro CMOS camera, an off-axis guider, multiple filters, and an ASIAIR Mini. This setup allows me to remotely control the telescope and imaging systems from the comfort and warmth of my home.
Here are some pictures that I took with my PTO. I usually take 60-180s exposure times and stack 30-100 exposures together.
Please feel free to reach out if you want to talk about astrophotography.
